Event Image

Architect of the Thomas Mann House and three models of the Case Study House Program, among many other relevant projects, J.R. Davidson remains an under-studied figure in the history of modern architecture. This exhibition, featuring over 120 items from the Museum´s Architecture and Design Collection, brings Davidson´s career to new light by outlining his unique contributions to the modern legacy in Southern California. Curated by architectural historian Lilian Pfaff, J.R. Davidson is accompanied by a richly illustrated catalog of the same title.
