Domingo Architectural Walking Tour

Downtown reborn after the 1925 earthquake

Volunteer docents from the Architectural Foundation of Santa Barbara lead a two-hour walk through the art and architecture of downtown as it was rebuilt in the Spanish style after the 1925 earthquake. Stops include the 1917 Central Library, La Arcada, the East Figueroa buildings, the Santa Barbara Museum of Art, the Granada and Arlington theatres, and the Upper Hawley Building.

The tour runs every Sunday year-round, weather permitting. Reservations are recommended as a courtesy to the docents.
