Sábado Architectural Walking Tour
Historic downtown with the Architectural Foundation of Santa Barbara
Volunteer docents from the Architectural Foundation of Santa Barbara lead an easy two-hour stroll through the historic center of downtown, the heart of the city's Spanish and Mexican heritage. Stops include Casa de la Guerra, City Hall, the News-Press building, El Paseo, the 1924 Lobero Theatre, Julia Morgan's Lobero office building, the 1912 Recreation Center and the Montecito Bank building by Myron Hunt.
The tour runs every Saturday year-round, weather permitting. Reservations are recommended as a courtesy to the docents.
