South Coast Stand-Up Comedy
A night of clean comedy
South Coast Comedy brings four nationally touring comics to the Alcazar for a clean stand-up night. The lineup: Darren Capozzi, a TV warm-up comic for America's Got Talent, The Masked Singer and Press Your Luck; British-born Matt Kirshen, a Last Comic Standing finalist seen on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson; Lenny Schmidt, whose acting credits include Joe Dirt and The Ugly Truth; and Jay Lamont, "The Human iPod," who mixes stand-up with singing and celebrity impressions.
The Alcazar's resident improv team, An Embarrassment of Pandas, opens the night. Tickets are $20, or $15 for seniors and students, at the box office or online; the theatre suggests buying ahead. Talent is subject to change.
