Creative Revolution with Flora Bowley
One-day art workshop benefiting the Santa Barbara Birth Center
Artist, author and teacher Flora Bowley ends her six-city Creative Revolution Tour in Santa Barbara with a full-day workshop at the historic Carrillo Recreation Center. The day mixes gentle movement, playful collaborative art, guided writing and drawing prompts, and small-group reflection, with tools for getting past perfectionism and creative blocks. No art experience is needed.
The day runs in a three-hour morning session and a three-hour afternoon session with a two-hour lunch break. All art materials are provided, along with a tote of goodies, one of Bowley's hand-painted affirmation cards, her playlist and two months in her online community. Proceeds support the Santa Barbara Birth Center, a nonprofit that makes midwifery care more accessible. Those who can't pay full price can apply for a reduced spot.
