Madame Ebeneza's Holiday Inn

MORE Theater/SB, which stages original plays and adaptations in non-traditional spaces around Santa Barbara, retells Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol inside Miss Daisy's Consignment House. This version looks at wealth, exploitation and how generosity brings back good cheer.

As the holiday season begins in a foggy seaside town, Madame Ebeneza's Inn has no reservations. Her former associate Margo appears to warn her that her mistreatment, hoarding and stinginess have summoned three Spirits, who visit her among her many possessions from the Past, Present and Future.

Performances run Dec 3–6 and Dec 10–13 at 3 pm. Single tickets are $30 per date, and a $100 Passport covers any four MORE Theater/SB tickets.
