Octobots Robotics Open House
Robot demos and meet the Dos Pueblos robotics team
Octobots Robotics, FIRST Robotics Competition Team 9084 based at Dos Pueblos High School, opens its new practice field in the Calle Real Shopping Center (the former Carrows/Denny's/Coast Supply building), provided for the season by The Towbes Group. The evening is also a send-off for Octane, the team's 2026 robot, which runs one last time.
Visitors can watch live robot demonstrations of the team's 115-pound robots, meet the student leaders of the electrical, hardware, software, strategy and media sub-teams, and enjoy family-friendly activities. Families, prospective students, businesses, sponsors and STEM fans are all welcome. Admission is free and open to the public, with light refreshments provided by the team.
