Three Counties, Three Poets Laureate
A poetry reading at the Central Library
The region’s three poets laureate read from their own work: Mary Ann McFadden of Ventura County, Caleb Nichols of San Luis Obispo County and George Yatchisin of the City of Santa Barbara. A short Q&A follows the readings.
McFadden’s books include Eye of the Blackbird and Devil, Dear. Nichols wrote Lithic: A Hyperballad, and Yatchisin recently edited A Feast for Santa Barbara, an anthology of food and drink poems. The library lists the reading for teens and adults.
