Two days of adventure, nature and travel films in Goleta
The Wild & Free Film Festival screens about 40 films from 12 countries over two days at Camino Real Cinemas, in blocks of shorts and features with Q&As and free panels on telling personal stories and shooting on location. Titles include Catching Pinecones, Derya Runs Many Miles, Seoul to Sol and The Vegan Poultry Farmer.
The Saturday 5 pm special event is Nuisance Bear, the Sundance Grand Jury Prize winner about polar bears, tourists and wildlife officers in the Arctic, followed by the festival's awards presentation. Film-block tickets don't include Nuisance Bear; All In Pass holders get in to everything.
